Just a couple of quick tips.
Braid and band, two years later and I still braid and band to wash my hair.
Towel color is important, use a dark color towel to wrap your hair after you wash. Why? Because if any lint from the towel gets in your hair it will be dark instead of this bright white spot staring out at the crowd.
Cooking, cover your hair. Our locks do absorb odors, so if you are frying fish, chicken etc, cover your locks.
Have a fabulous life, day, moment, experience.

Mountaintop
I have been on the mountaintop this past weekend. It was amazing to sit at a elevation of 5000 feet and watch the sunlight shimmer across the ocean. To spend 2 days in praise and worship with 200+ sisters was an experience I will never forget. I am so humbled and thankful.

Freedom
My Sister is truly free, what a beautiful day for her to loc. I was so ecstatic and proud as I viewed her new babies. I know that she will be an inspiration to many others, and I know she will come to wish she had looked sooner.
Congratulation Sis, I couldn't be happier for you!!!!

Wow, Has it been that long?
Its a new year and I am excited about the new things in my life. Today a dear sister of my is being freed from bondage and experincing the joys of locs. I am so excited for her that I can not stand it. Freedom comes, and what better day for her to have to celebrate her lock anniversary than the week of Martin Luther Kings birthday. Talk about free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty she is free at last.
Sister you know who you are, I love you!
